Cost-effective end-of season renovations with great results

Whether its football, rugby, cricket or bowls, we stress the importance of end-of-season renovations as this directly affects the standard and play of your grounds for not only the next season, but also years to come.

We understand that no two playing surfaces are the same, and each one requires seed mixes and altering grades of top soil; for that reason, we know that each ground needs a tailored programme. We also understand that each club has different financial constraints so we pride ourselves on being able to offer cost-effective end-of season renovations with great results.

One of these methods involves deep spiking and deep aeration using a Verti-drain or Blec ground breaker, as well as using approved sand or a sand/loam mix for top dressing. We have a strong relationship with our suppliers and we are constantly looking at improved seed mixes and fertilisers so that we can offer the best products for coverage at the best prices for our customers, whether this is for fine turf such as cricket squares and bowling greens, or for more hard wearing sports such as rugby and football.

In addition to maintaining sports surfaces, JSA provides services for the construction of sports pitches. We have an experienced team who have constructed both natural and synthetic surfaces for sport and have installed prestige projects involving artificial surfaces including cricket wickets and full size rugby and hockey pitches. On other projects, we have undertaken improvement works to enhance playing surfaces and arenas by adding or enhancing existing features.
